Is the website really free?
Yes. The design and build cost you nothing. The only thing you pay is £24 a month for hosting, including VAT, which also covers your .co.uk domain. There are no setup fees and no hidden charges.
What's the catch?
Just that hosting is £24/month, with no minimum term — cancel whenever you like with 30 days' notice. We build the site free because we hope that, when you're ready to invest in marketing, you'll come back to us. There's no obligation to.
What kind of website is it?
It's a brochure website — a professional site that shows who you are, what you do, your prices, your photographs and how to reach you, with a contact form and one-tap calling. It isn't an online shop, a booking system or a site you log in to edit yourself. If you need to take payments or run a booking diary, we'll tell you straight that you need more than this.
Can I log in and edit the website myself?
No — and that is deliberate. Your site isn't built on WordPress or any other system you log into, which is what keeps it quick and means there are no plugins to keep updated and no admin page for anyone to attack. When something needs changing you send it to us and we do it: photographs, opening hours, prices, a new service. It's covered by your hosting and we reply within one working day.
What do you need from me?
Mainly your Google Business Profile link. Anything extra — photos, a list of services, a bit about your story — makes the site even better, but we can work with what's already on your profile.
What if I don't have a Google Business Profile?
No problem — we can build your site from content you give us instead. And a Google Business Profile is free to set up; we can point you in the right direction there too.
How quickly will my website be live?
Fast — your website is typically live within 48 hours of your domain being registered. (Registering a new .co.uk domain usually only takes minutes, so most sites are live within a couple of days of you getting in touch.)
Are email addresses included?
Business email isn't included with the website, but we're happy to help you set up Google Workspace so you can have a professional address at your own domain. (Google's standard fees apply.)
